REBEL WIFE is now completed! HERE is a trailer!

The unknown story of Mary Jane Irwin O’Donovan Rossa and her pivotal contribution to Irish freedom premiered in mid-December 2023 at the IndieCork Film Festival in Ireland. It was also at CraicFest in NYC and Fastnet Film Festival in West Cork. I also did a great screening in her hometown of Clonakilty and have been doing screenings at universities and cultural organizations (please reach out to me if you would like to arrange a screening with a director Q&A). It is also on RTE One (Irish TV). I will be arranging a virtual screening in March 2025 on Eventive so please check back!

Rebel Rossa is a feature-length documentary about the Irish revolutionary Jeremiah O’Donovan Rossa, his controversial role in history and what he means now. It premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2016 and has been shown on RTE all over Ireland and the USA. You can currently see it on Amazon Prime or order a limited edition US/Canada DVD right here. The DVD includes extras like an interview with Gerry Adams, a recreation of Padraig Pearse’s famous graveside oration (“The Fools, The Fools”), NYC commemorations, a visit to the Belfast O’Donovan Rossa GAA club and a number of other scenes only on the DVD.
