About
Hi, I'm a Producer, Director, Editor with over 20 years experience in long-form documentary film, short web-based pieces and non-profit/advocacy video. Feature length projects have broadcast on HBO/MAX, premiered at Sundance and other festivals and been on TV and streaming in the US and overseas. I am creative, consistent, organized and efficient. I have worked with a variety of crews all over the US and throughout the world and conducted hundreds of filmed interviews in a variety of contexts and locations. I am thoroughly versed in the process of feature-length and short content creation from development through field production to post-production and delivery including the myriad issues that arise in any kind of production. I can develop original ideas or help hone others' into a realistic production plan that will meet most any budget. Over the past ten years I have also been editing extensively, a skill I think benefits from my producing experience. In production, experience means a great deal and I have a firm grasp on all kinds of documentary-style processes. I graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Literature/Political Science and then went on to get a MSc in Media and Communications at the London School of Economics as a Fulbright Scholar. I was a founding contributing editor of The Brooklyn Rail and, in this dawning age of AI, have engaged in research and published an academic paper on synthetic moving images and the historical archive. Thank you for visiting!
